I Love Currywurst

Currywurst


"I love you and I also love Currywurst!"
That's the word I said to my boyfriend after I got a portion of Currywurst.

Currywurst is German national dishes, it's slices of wurst (German, means sausage) covered with curry ketchup and sowing of curry powder. Curry ketchup usually is made from tomato ketchup blended with curry. Currywurst is also usually served with fries (Currywurst mit Pommes) or a piece of bread (Currywurst mit Brot).

I just remembered that day, February 19th, 2009. It was last two days of my holiday in Heidelberg. My boyfriend said that I had to get a portion of the last Currywurst and he ordered a portion of "doppelcurrywurst mit pommes" (means double currywurst with fries). I thought that I was in heaven at that time. After that, my boyfriend and I went to take Bergbahn (mountain railway in Heidelberg) and planned to visit Königstuhl (a mountain near Heidelberg) but we finally didn't go because the snow was so thick. Then after we came back to the town, we went to the same restaurant to order one more "doppelcurrywurst". Hahaha.

Oh God, thank You, You've created a delicious food named "currywurst" through German. Hahaha.
